Roei Cohen brings approximately 11 years of experience in the public sector and in surveying, spatial information and GIS. During his years at Orhitec GIS, he was involved in managing and delivering large-scale measurement projects in municipal property tax (Arnona), fees and levies, gaining hands-on experience with complex surveying operations, large volumes of data and processes for public-sector organisations.
That experience became the foundation for GeoState: taking the standards, technology and working methods developed through years of large-scale projects and bringing them into the urban-renewal sector.

Or Cohen is a lawyer by training, with professional experience built from two important sides of the urban-renewal industry. He began his career at one of the leading law firms in the field, representing developers and apartment owners and gaining a deep understanding of the legal, commercial and human complexity of urban-renewal projects.
He later joined one of Israel’s prominent real-estate development companies, gaining experience from the developer’s side and working with apartment owners, consultants, lawyers, architects and planning professionals.
This background enables Or to lead GeoState with an understanding that goes far beyond surveying itself: what the developer needs, what the resident needs, and how accurate information and strong service affect the success of the project.
Two worlds. One company.
The connection between Roei and Or is one of the foundations on which GeoState was built. The meeting of surveying and GIS with law and real-estate development created a company that does not see surveying as a purely technical task — but as a process that connects field accuracy, information systems, deliverables, project management and service.
